I am using the inventory widget in a registration form, to keep track of the number of seats available. Currently it is not updating accurately.
This inventory is accounting for the amount of space available so when the space is full they can no longer register.

I have tested the widget on my end and it is working, take a look on my testing form: https://form.jotform.com/60766556930969.
May we submit your form as a test and see how it is working?
If the issue is there, then we should be able to see what is the amount that it is subtracting based on the selected amount.
We will wait for your response.

Will the inventory widget work accurately if we make edit changes to the form? It is not showing the accurate number of seats left.
We did set up a practice run on a similar form, and it worked, but we didnt edit any of the forms. Could this be the problem?
We have a multiple lines that need to be accurate. We only have so many seats availabe in each session.

Editing a submission should not affect the total number of seats remaining, if the count in the widget remains the same while submitting the edit.
In other words, when you load the form for editing, it will load with Inventory widget value set to zero - so you must manually bring it back to 1 in your edit.
I have forwarded this as a bug report to our developers, but until it is resolved, please always make sure to set the Inventory widget value back to 1 when editing any submission.
We will update you through this thread when it is resolved. Thank you.
