How can I fix an invalid configuration for credit card payments?

    I copied a form from last year and updated everything.

    However, several people have tried to make online payments and they get an invalid configuration message.

    How do I fix this?

    Hello LiteracySWLA,

    An invalid merchant configuration error is a kind of error related to your Paypal account.  This error occurs when you have not yet agreed to the billing agreement between in your Paypal, or the billing agreement is disabled. 

    Please make sure that your PayPal account is ready to accept payments. You may also contact PayPal Support to get assistance.
