I have a survey where the users have many (more than twenty) Drop-down Combo boxes, where they can choose between the numbers 0, 1, 2 and "nb" (nicht beantwortet = not answered).
I made a Visual Report to visualize, how they filled out the Combo Boxes (https://eu.jotform.com/report/60263149897062).
Unfortunately the chart elements are ordered by amount of entries (see Image 1). Sometimes, this order could be helpful but for my survey this isn't ideal at all, as the order and colours of the numers (0,1,2,nb) are shuffled and the charts are very difficult to compare.
It would necessary, if the order of the elements are by numbers (0,1,2,nb) and not by amount of entries. (see Image 2)
It would very important for my survey if I can change the order.
Last year we made a survey and the order worked differently and more as expected. As I read in a forum post I'm not the only person who is very unhappy with this change.
I hope you can provide a solution for this problem soon.

I was able to see the issue you descibed on the Visual Report order/sorting of the graph elements.
Currently, there is no means to manually sort or customize the order on how the graph elements are viewed on the report.
I will submit a request ticket to our higher team support to check if they can implement a custom sorting option for the graph elements.
We cannot provide you any ETA as to when this will be available. We will do notify you here for any news on the progress/status.

Have you any news about my question? Will there soon be a possibility to customize the sort order of the charts?
Im re-running a survey I did last year and it's very important, that I can provide my customer with the same kind of charts we had last year (sorted by field and not ammount of entries).

Thank you for you answer. Unfortunately your back end team changed the sort order of the charts in february 2016. (see jotform.com/answers/776598-Reports-in-jotform-Chart-order-was-changed-form-good-to-bad-in-Feb-2016). For some users this change may be good, for others, it's definitely very bad. Instead of leaving these users frustrated, please reconsider integrating a feature, where one can choose between the old and new sort order of the charts.
