Hello, I have a wishbox form at kaliko.multidata.cz, but loading the form takes ca 10-15 secs. Can I improve it?

When I click on Feedback button, Loading... appears and keep loading ca 10-15 secs before the feedback screenshot and form are displayed to end-user. Can it be faster? I guess it is due to getting URL and screenshot processing, is my assumption correct? Thanks.

How fast wishbox loads depends on internet connectivity or speed and the computer specs of the user. Those who have slow speed connection may take longer time to load Wishbox than others. When you click on the wishbox button this triggers the screenshot action and loads the image within the form for editing. Such process would take time if the computer specs is older.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks, do you have some guidelines what is recommended and how much time needed for processing is expected? I got the complaint about slowness from a few users, most of them baing located on academic network with good speed having PCs with reasonable resources (WinXP3, Win7). Maybe displaying percentage of processing in addition to the Loading... would be good. BR, Martin

It would be hard to give out a time frame for the  process since every page in your website has different size and loading time would vary. I noticed that you have wishbox added on several pages of your website some of it loads really slow. May we know what particular browser was used?

    Thanks!

Hello, thanks again. I really appreciate your answers. I optimised some javascript and move it to the end of web pages (including jotform part). Now I am Loading ca 8-9 secs from homepage which seems a little bit better. I am using Chrome. Does it depend also on resolution of PC? I am used to rather high 1400x1050, which can make screenshots larger. I was a little bit surprised that .png screenshot that is part of submissions at jotform.com/myforms has been almost 500 kB. With Google Benchmark the welcome page of Kaliko is about 1,5 sec. BR, Martin

    Hi Vojnar,

I have had the same problem with you beforeand what helped me was optimizing my site. So, you might want try to search some good tips for "Optimizing Page Load Time" on google.

Hope that will help you as well.

Optimizing the JavaScripts on your webpages indeed helped I can see that there is an improvement on the load time of your website. From my experience I don't think that the screen resolution would matter, I tested it on a 1366 x 768 and 1280 x 600 both have the same load time. In Chrome you can use the Network feature of the Developer tools to see the response, latency or duration time of the page. During the test wishbox loaded within an impressive duration of 3.67 seconds. The response time would vary though depending on your ISP.

    Thanks!
