With the free account, you will be able to get 100 submissions per month with 100mb available space. However, if you go over that limit, you might not be able to receive further submissions. I strongly suggest that if you are expecting to get more submissions than the quota of your current plan, you have to upgrade accordingly to avoid further confict.

In addition to anartwork. Since your are currently registered as Free user, you're limited up to 100 Monthly Submissions. When you get the 101th submission you will receive an email that says your account is scheduled to be disabled on the next business day noon EST. For example, if you are over limit on a Friday, your account will be disabled on Monday noon. If you do not want your forms to be interrupted you can upgrade your account during this time.
If you do not upgrade your account your forms will simply stop working. No submission will be accepted and users will receive this error upon viewing your form:
Furthermore, if you don't like to updgrade, your form's will be enabled back when submission counter gets reseted which is the first day of the following month. For example, next reset will be on April 01, 2012.

what is the process for upgrading in this time frame and how long does it take? want to eensure that our users never receive the form over quota message.

You can upgrade to a 'Premium' or 'Professional' membership, via the 'Pricing' page in your account.

No, i understand and we probably wouldn't. However we are thinking that 1000 per month is sufficent but we don't have a good handle on likely volume of submissions at this time. This is a new project and I just wanted to understand the turnaround time to increase submissions if we rapidly started to approach the 1000 mark inside of a month.

Before the forms are about to be disabled you will receive an email notification to give you ample time to upgrade. The upgrade is instant it does not take more than 5 minutes all you need to make sure is to complete the upgrade process and payment information used should be correct to avoid problems. After the upgrade you can re login to the account and you should see an increase in the quota limits.
