    Embedded form shows blank fields when using mobile browser

    Jotform Team,

    I desperately need someone who can solve a problem for me. When typing in fields the text is blank and will not populate dissolves when typing? Very irritable and not working properly. 

    No one can seem to figure it out and I do not want to clone the form and lose the existing data related to that form.

    PLEASE HELP!

    I was able to reproduce it as well when I test the embedded form on your website on iphone mobile browser.

     

    However, using only the direct URL of the form https://www.jotformpro.com/form/40755780337965 did not show similar issue.

     

    Allow me more time to check the caused. I'll get back to you shortly.

    Can you please try first re-embedding the form on your website using its default script embed code.

    I need to check if there are script conflict when using script embed.

    Please let us know when you have done this.

    Apologies for the inconvenience. I see that you have embedded the form to your website using script embed. There seems to be some conflict between the script on the from and your webpage. To prevent this issue from occurring, can you please try using the iFrame embed code instead? Here's how: Getting the Form iFrame Code

    Sorry for the delays. I was able to reproduce the issue no matter which embed method I do on my test page here.

     

    From what I have determined so far, it seems that the existing CSS on the website page was causing the conflict.

    I created a test page and embedded a basic form that doesn't uses any special theme. And yet the same anomally is happening.

    Do you have any other embedded form on the same website? Do they work properly? 

    The most I can suggest right now is to create a test page on your website without the theme you use on this page that have the issue. On the test page, embed your form and let us test how it behaves.

    Embedding on new test page does not work either. As a side note the jot form plugin is also no longer working on wordpress, so I”m curious to know if that has something to do with it.

    I took a look at your website, but can not see any issues with the form, however since my colleague was able to recreate the same earlier I will ask our colleague from iOS department to give us a hand with this and we will update you about it through this thread.

    Hi Robert,

    Thank you for updating us. Currently, we do not have wide report regarding Wordpress embed form problem. But apparently you must be having such issue on your Wordpress embedded form.

    I created a separate thread for that issue here https://www.jotform.com/answers/823171 . Let us resolve the WP issue separately from the issue we have on this thread.

    My colleague had forwarded this thread to our iOS team since the problem was very specific to occur only on iOS browser version. We will update you here once we have update on the status of the report.
