Take Photo Widget: Is is possible to edit submission but let the picture intact?Asked by cascades_crd on April 21, 2016 at 04:42 PM
I know how to edit submission.
the problem I have is that when I go into edit mode on my computer, my webcam starts and allows me to take picture. The picture is mandatory so if don't take one, it won't allow me to go ahead and submit the edited form.
Forms are filled on a tablet.
Is it possible to edit the submission without the picture and how would I do that?
The Take Photo widget webcam image capturing is based on flash technology, since flash is not usually available on the mobile devices there is a fallback to simple upload field type. This switch between flash and non-flash version is probably where the submission editing inconsistency is coming from.
You may consider using a standard File Upload field instead. It will work in the same manner as the Take Photo widget, but will let you to edit the form entries without any issues.

Thank you it worked!!! Solved!
