I am testing Jotform integration with InfusionSoft, and I am concerned about moving forward with it because I am not sure if jotform will be able to keep the apps integrated, based on a few posts I have seen related to the authentication.
For the integration to work, Jorform needs to refresh the authorization token periodically, otherwise the form won't stay connected. See the link below with information about how to handle authentication using InfusionSoft's API:
Also, note that InfusionSoft account owner will be using jotform integration to request information from their InfusionSoft contacts. Since these contacts are the end users, they won't have the information to recreate the connection between infusionSoft and JotForm.
That's why it is important that Jotform has the logic to renew the authentication token before it expires.
Other situations that could disconnect the apps
Now, it is important that the token is refreshed, and that there is some type of email notification sent out to the jotform account owner when they need to refresh this notification. This could happen in the following scenarios: if InfusionSoft is doing maintenance on their servers, and when they are back online the connection needs to be authenticated again, or when Jotform is doing some type of maintenance.
Without some type of notification, the connection between the apps won't be reliable.

If I remember it correctly, the Infusionsoft app is originally developed by a third party, but our developers replaced it with the current one in the apps section so I'm sure they are already aware of the expiration. There are tickets about it so if you want, I can also forward this thread to our backend so you'll be notified of updates.

Yes, can you please forward this to your developers? I want to confirm that the InfusionSoft integration is refreshing the authentication, and remains connected to the InfusionSoft instance.
Note, here I am not talking about the InfusionSoft File Upload Widget, available when I click on Browse widgets.By the way, that widget is not very useful, since it requires a InfusionSoft user id, when most of the time, InfusionSoft account holders want a infusionSoft contact to upload the file (and a contact is not a user in infusionSoft, therefore does not have a user id).

Yes, I understand that you are referring to our Infusionsoft integration, under apps. But with regards to the InfusionSoft File Upload widget, allow me to address that as well. We refresh a form's InfusionSoft token each time it is submitted, so the access tokens are always fresh.
As for the posts you have seen, they are related to a bug that affected EU-hosted forms and prevented them from renewing the tokens. We have fixed the said bug today.
