How to enable Autofill feature on the form

Asked by Ken on April 27, 2016 at 08:49 PM
As you can see on the quote form page, we ask a LOT of information, and I'm afraid that with a bunch of our repeat customers that they get frustrated or annoyed at the prospect of having to re-enter the information over and over again. Ryan Levesque has a software platform called http://surveyfunnelsoftware.com that allows you to create a series of pathways for people to take based on the answer to their questions. If they answer Question A this way, then it leads them to Question B, if they answer it a different way, it leads them to Question C... and that way we could potentially Customize & Optimize a visitors experience each time they come to us. A "Choose Your Own Adventure" pathway.

Is there a way of creating forms that have that ability? And are there clear and simple instructions/tutorials on how one would go about doing that quickly without having to spend an entire day trying to learn it? :)

You must be referring to the Autofill feature or the save session feature on the form.

There are 2 ways in JotForm how this work.

    #1 The simple method How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature

    #2 The advance method How-to-Save-Forms-and-Continue-Later

The #2 option is more complex but will allow the user to continue their form session on any computer. As long as they have the link of the session, they can continue.

While #1 is more simpler, it is limited to work only on the same computer/device browser the user was using at the time. They can only continue the session on the same browser.

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance on this.
