    Hello,

I was referred to JotForm by a friend, so I'm new to JotForm.

I have to create a form for a certification and want to know if the following special issues can be done in JotForm:

The questions have different weights in the total evaluation - aka "points" - difficult questions solved count more points than easier questions. Can this be reflected?

Can the certificate (answers of participant) be saved as PDF or in other document type?

    Thanks for your help

Hello Heinz, and welcome to JotForm. Yes, what you are asking is achievable with our forms.

If your questions will have different points based on which answer/option is selected, you can simply assign calculation values to options of your questions:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/301-How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value

In order to calculate the total value from all answers provided on your form, you can simply set up a form calculation to calculate the sum of all your form fields:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form

Finally, all the answers your users will provide on your JotForm forms will be collected in our system, so you can download your submissions in formats such as PDF, Excel, CSV.

For example, here is how to export submissions in Excel format: https://www.jotform.com/help/44-How-to-Export-Form-Data-to-Excel

To get each individual submission in PDF format, we have several ways available. Most common is to set up an Email notification so that you are emailed each time your form is submitted: https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications

While setting up your email notification, simply select the option to Attach PDF file to your emails, and you will receive a PDF of your user's responses attached to the email:

Another way to get the PDF of your user's submission is to go to the submissions page of your form, and use the Get PDF button:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-view-Submissions

Please let us know if you need further clarifications or assistance, we'll be glad to help.
