Is there a way to limit the number of submissions for a single field in a form?

We're using a form for conference registrations, and there are multiple types of accommodation choices in the form, but each accommodation choice is limited to a certain number of units.  Is there a way to set up the form so that when we run out of, for example, dorm room space, this choice is automatically disabled in the form, and the registrant will be required to make an alternate choice.

I believe the Appointment Slots widgets may be suitable for your requirement. This widget allows you to setup a field with a certain number of available slots/units. Once all the slots are taken, the field will be disabled and the user will no longer be able to select that slot.

Here's a demo so you can see it in action: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/43352010062942?
