Does the opt in checkbox have to be labeled "Newsletter"? and can the text be edited? - My conditional set up in integrations keeps dropping out the opt in?
This is a re-post of a comment on How to Integrate with MailChimp

The text and label of the opt-in option can be changed. However, it seems that we have a bug there, the opt-in field is not currently added once you complete the integration.
I have attached a bug report ticket to this thread and escalated it to our Development Team.
We will get back to you once the issue is fixed.

Ahh! I thought that you had to create a checkbox and then select it.
So you are saying the current behavior opts in every email address?

If so what is the timeline to fix this bug - I have a lot of forms to correct or remove integrations

Unfortunately we do not have any ETA. At this time all that I can tell you is that my colleague has already raised this to our developers.
As soon as our developers check this and have any updates on the same, they will update you through this thread.

The issue with the 'Send Contacts To Mail Chimp' option should be fixed. Now when you change it from 'Always' to 'Only if user agrees' the confirmation field should be properly added to the form. You can also change the confirmation field label and text.
If there are any forms which are not currently working right with the confirmation option, please edit or re-do the Mailchimp integration on them to include the proper confirmation field.
Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.
