On of the form calculation fields is not calculating the quantity properlyAsked by Mike Simpson on May 12, 2016 at 01:09 PM
I have a form that I'm working on https://form.jotform.com/50975962480971
I have a couple of calculation fields - the one titled "Total White GSF" works perfectly and totals all of the white shirts.
The one titled "Total Navy GSF" will only total the 3 fields above it marked "Youth Navy" - it totally ignores the other 7 fields above that "Navy Small" to "Navy 4XL"?
I've removed and retried multiple times with no luck...
That is using the direct link of the form as above...
The reason why it is "not working" Mike is because the form calculation widget is set to capture the value from other fields - not the expected ones.
To be more specific, the fields that they are capturing the values from are the ones under the submit button.
To rectify this, you should change the form calculation to capture the right fields after the removing the currently set ones.
What I recommend when fields have similar names is to change the names.
For example, since this is a second set of shirts, you could add "2_" in front of their names while setting them up and then simply remove them after setup (form calculation should stay synced with the filed label changes).
That will allow you to get the right fields in an easy manner and to avoid the same issue.
