How to not update referrer on edit

We want to use either the Get Referrer or Get Form Page URL widget to track the page a visitor is on when they submit an Information Request form. These fields are overwritten when our staff updates the submission from the Jotform submissions page. (Staff enter the date resolved and notes.) How can we set up either of these widgets to update only with the original submission?

While you can not change it to not get updated on changes, you would be able to copy that value into another field as a workaround.

That way there is a field on your form that is left empty when your visitors fill the form out, and you overwrite the same by adding the previous referrer details into the same.

Unfortunately that is the only way that you would be able to accomplish the same.
