How to create conditions by using fields in configurable list widget?

Asked by megavado on May 15, 2016 at 03:20 PM

Hi. I'm creating a form and i'd like to use Configurable List. I want to add some Conditionals to the fields and i want that: when the user click on ADD more it creates the fields with the same conditions. Is it possible?

    Thanks

Unfortunately, it is not possible to apply Conditions on specific fields of the Configurable list, since it is a widget and it works differently than a regular field.

Could you please describe what would you like to do so we can try to find a workable solution for you?

    Thank you!

    I Nick,

Thanks for you answer. I will try to explain my need (sorry bad english)

I'm building a form and i want to add some fields with conditionals like that

    Field A and Field B

    Field C and Field D

Fields A and C are dropdown fields (contains abraviations) and B and D are textarea (contain the meaning of correspondent A or C). When the user select an option on a dropdown field the meaning appears on a textarea field. I just did that. The problem is: there are many fields, some of that with the same options. In this case i must creat conditions for all fields, even for the repeating fields.

So i'd like one way the apply (by copying) the conditions of a field to another field.

    Thanks

In the Conditions editor, there is option to duplicate conditional statement.

Unfortunately, since you cannot use a widget for your form requirement, you will need to use this option instead.

Just in case you want to do conditional calculations on a table like fields, the Matrix table field is actually capable of having calculation conditional statement.

Hope this help. Let us know how we can be of furtherr assistance.
