How to hide a column of configurable list in submission?

    Hi,

I am working on a form witch is to be used to fill in used materials and then exported to an MS Access database.

I use a configurable list to select the used material but i need a way to transfer the ID as well without the user of the form seeing it since it has no value to them.

The configurable list has no option to look up the ID when a material is selected so i am thinking of placing the ID in the same column as the material and them filter it out when importing it to the database.

That leaves a wide column for the user with a number they don't need.

Is there a way to hide the first (or last) 6 characters of a column with CSS or in another way?

If that's possible i can use the ID without bothering the user with numbers.

    Kind regards,

Unfortunately, there is now way to hide any field inside of the configurable list since, as you noticed, the configurable list is submitting as one filed, one ID, so there si no control over fields inside. You can not hide them even with conditions.

If you would like I can forward this to our developers as a possible feature that could be implemented?

Please let me know if you have ay additional questions.

    Thank you!

I'll try to find a workaround, in the meantime, while I'm waiting for your response.

    Thank you!
