Uploading files from cloud storage with Filepicker

    I am using Filepicker to enable users to upload files from cloud storage in my Jotform but when I used the wizard to set up the button on the part where you can select the cloud storage services DropBox has a note saying 'Only appears for non free accounts'. Does this mean a non free Jotform account or a non free Filestack account?

    Hi,

    I tried adding FilePicker to my forms using both types of accounts - free and paid - but the Dropbox option does not seem to appear in the location options when uploading files.

    That probably means you need to have a paid account in FileStack. To be sure, you may also contact FileStack support at https://www.filestack.com/docs/support/.

    Hi, thanks for your response. I checked with Filestack and they say:

    "We allow files to be uploaded through Dropbox for all accounts with Filestack. We only allow saving to user's storage (Dropbox, S3, Azure, etc) with paid plans."

    Can you clarify further on this as we really need to have Drop Box uploads.

    As the Filestack account owner, you need to be on their paid plan before you can allow uploading from Dropbox. As far as I know, this is how our Filestack/Filepicker integration works.

    As I said in my last message I have just checked this with Filestack and they have confirmed that they allow Drop Box uploads for all accounts including free ones, here's their message:

     

    "Greetings Brook,

    We allow files to be uploaded through Dropbox for all accounts with Filestack. We only allow saving to user's storage (Dropbox, S3, Azure, etc) with paid plans.

    I really need to get this working so can someone please find out for sure what I need to do.

    You first need to create a Dropbox application, and authenticate it with the Dropbox App key and App secret in Filestack - Using Dropbox with Filestack (Filestack guide). Then you can enable Dropbox in the Filestack Integration from JotForm.
