    HI - I googled my new client's business name and their jotform registration form came up in the results. Is it possible to hide this url from search engines? Or some other way to not have it come up?

    Thanks!

    David

    Once you embed a form to your website, it will be possible to be searched and would be available online to be indexed by Google or any other search engines.

    If you want to hide the form from search engines, you can add noindex and nofollow robots meta tag to the web pages with embedded forms.

    <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">

    You can also add the parameter rel="nofollow" to the form links. Here's an example below:

    <a target="_blank" href="http://form.jotformpro.com/form/1234567890"  rel="nofollow">Form Link</a>

    If you need further assistance, please let us know.

    Adding to the theme here, I have my form linked to a button on my website, not embedded. Is it possible to hide that from search engines?

    A google search actually turns up the form BEFORE my website. Which isn't good.

    Many thanks!
