I'm a developer looking for an ecommerce solution for a client in the printing industry. He has many different products with many, many different attributes and variables. What he wants is to be able to have a multiplier for each product and for each price point. For instance, 1-100 business cards might cost $0.05 each. So an algebraic equation would be written to calculate the total price.

I have been trying to find a solution to this problem for quite some time using WooCommerce as an ecommerce platform, but have yet to find a solution.

An example of what I'm talking about can be found here:

    http://www.colorproprint.com/printing/quote/business-cards

The client's current website is here:

    http://frontierprintcenter.com/index2.php?type=business_card

The problem we are running into is all the variables, prices for which apparently have to be programmed in individually, which takes forever.

If you can help us find a solution, we would be very interested in doing business with you.

    Thank you for your time!

    Scott

I have reviewed your site and the form seems manageable. To assist you better could you please provide some of the formulas used to calculate the total price.

When using the dropdown fields, you have an option to enter the value used to calculate

With this value you can use the FORM CALCULATION widget to add you formula and get the price total.

If you can provide some formulas or all, we can create a sample form for you.

We're not that far yet. We have been looking for an ecommerce plugin that will allow the client to enter his own multiples for different products, rather than having to enter in a static price for every product variation. Sounds like we would be able to accomplish that with jotforms?

Would the client or myself be able to log in to the for settings and change the multiple from time to time? Client would like the form to "work" much like a spreadsheet does, where we could say..."take field 1 plus field 3 and multiply times field 17. Does that make sense?

You can have payment forms with products that can be modified easily from the JotForm account by your client or yourself. The price can be changed, add taxes, shipping and more.

The Form calculation Widget can also be used along with conditions to create more complex forms with products calculation.

If you need assistance we always here to help you.

How does JotForms integrate with WordPress? Does it have to make a separate call to the jotforms website each time a form is submitted? What does it do to load time?
