Required field error comes up even when the field is filled.

Whenever I preview my form on Jotform or on Squarespace after putting in the Lightbox code, the Name field keeps popping out "this field is required" even when I have filled out a name. I don't want to remove the required function. 

Is there something wrong in my codes?

Hi,

I would like to help you with this one.

I think you are getting the "required field" error because you did not really filled all the required field for the "Fullname" field, which is the second field of the of Fullname field. The thing is you hide it through CSS injection, so you won't able to see the second part to fill it up. That is why you are getting an error.

I would suggest using the "text box" field instead, under the Basic fields tab.

Thank you for your detailed response @Dan. Based on my investigation, it does seem that the issue is related with the hidden last name field not being filled, thus the error is being displayed.
