    Form submissions: Loss of data when using edit function in jotform or using link.

    Hello Jotform-

    First I have been using Jotform since 2009 so I am extremely familiar with the platform and have created nearly hundreds of forms for three businesses over a lot of years.

    I have a reservation form that on edit of completed forms using the link or the back office jotform submission editor deletes already entered data from the form on its own.

    Specifically the first name, first line of address and month digits of the date calendar disappear on edit using the form edit link or the back office submission editor on jotform.com.

    I have made no changes to the form or its conditions that would result in such a deletion of data.

    If you edit and switch the radio button from service call to two hour window (at the top it deletes already entered text from  the first name, first line of address and month digits of the date calendar. It doesn't create an error until you try to resubmit a second time and that is when it becomes apparent that data has been lost, specifically,  the first name, first line of address and month digits of the date calendar.

     

    Please fix this problem asap.

    I checked your form and I was able to see the issue you are referring to. I edited the submission and after submitting it, some of the data you listed are not displayed on the submission.

    I will be escalating this issue to our developers for further investigation. We will let you know on this thread once we have an update. Regards.
