Since it is a gift card form, then you can just use the "Collect Donations/ Custom Amount Payments" as the payment option.

Here's how it'll look like:

You can also add custom text box in the product options. Create a Product that has a price of $1.

Select the Product 1 (Gift Money) and then click the "Add New Option" button.

In the "Add New Option" wizard, select "Add Quantity Property" and check the "Custom Quantity (Text Box). Press the "Next" button when you're done.

Put the word "Amount" in the Name text box. Click "Finish" when you're done.

After this, complete the integration. Here's the result:
