What is the "calculate Cost" under the Authorize.Net Payment for?

    I want to use the Authorize.net for payment in my form. I already have it as a gateway. In the top banner you have a "calculate cost" button that says on or off. How does it calculate a cost if I can't connect the product variables???? I am using a radial button selection for multiple options that the buyer can choose from. How do these options translate into a cost?

    Thank you for contacting us.

    It is not possible to link the "Show Total" option to custom fields. This option is linked to products added through the Payment Wizard.

    In other words you will have to add your products via the Payment Wizard. Please note that you can add the Quantity and other options. Please check the following example.

    We have two methods of calculating the cost of product variable;

    i. Using paypal calculation

    We have release of new field type on "Payment Tools". It is called "Purchase Order". It basically allows you to create payment forms without any payment vendor integration. You can use that to accomplish this.

    ii. For Grading tool;

    The Grading tool can only add numbers entered in textbox "subfields"

    With Payment tools, you can auto-calculate the price of products selected by the user.

    I like this option but I was hoping to scale the cost based on the qty that they choose.
    Is this not an option????

    Yes, the price is depends on the Quantity, it is set by default.
