Can I have someone submit their credit card details without actually needing to process payment?

We need to have people's credit card information on file for incidentals, so we don't need the credit card information link to actually submit payment. Is this format of doing things possible? 

In the properties on the payment gateway, you will notice the option AUTHORIZATION ONLY. This will only verify the CC information and not bill the user. If you require to bill at a later time, you can do it from the submission page manually.
