The e-mail validation and required field features seem to work in 'preview' mode, but the embedded forms don't work when published to my website.
As such, bank forms and/or ones with incorrectly formatted e-mails have been submitted. Not only are they a nuisance to filter through, but they're counting toward my montlhly form submission limit!
Am I missing something?

May I request for the URL of the web site where this form is published? This way we can check further.

Email validation only checks correct email formats and its working, but, if you mean validating fake emails or unregistered emails then it is not possible for the meantime.
As an alternative, please go to Quick Tools > E-mail> and right click properties > and choose 'Confirmation' as yes.
In this way, they will need to re-enter the email address. If the email address does not match they will not be able to press submit.
See a working form here:

Thanks everyone for your quick responses.
gori-mathew - as suggested in the links you'd sent, iFrame did the trick. Thanks for the tip!
