iPhone App Raw HTML mixing with Form data

Asked by kokaneepowerforms on March 25, 2012 at 02:08 AM

This is from my other thread "jotForm iPhone / iPad App" with the screenshot now since it can't be added after a post.   Easier for me to start a new one than post a URL to it.

Side Notes:  Also discovered that the Choose File button and the HTML toolbar is blank on an iPad.  I was able to use some of the controls to build a form on an iPad, drag and drop works for example.   Not that it is designed for an iPad but thought I would share the info anyway.

Forgot to mention this was a submission from a test form I was creating.  Using app iOS 5.1 on both iPhone4s and iPad (3).

I received word back that a bug was filed this but it would take a very long time to get too this.   Now that I have some live forms running in my account and looking at this issue on the app it pretty much renders the app unusable as this free text html is scattered throughout multiple form fields.   For me this is pretty key to my team of people monitoring the submissions and getting instant data on the road ala the iPhone.   Can you ask if there are any workarounds and again happy to provide more screenshots as this is not an isolated field.   I have to think it is just some bad HTML causing it.

I see there is another thread withe same issue.

    Thanks for the help.

Yes, there was a similar bug reported by another user and a report has been submitted as well.

You can try removing the Free text (HTML) element in your form as this may be the reason why the bug appears in your submissions page.

It's not really a Free Text HTML Element that is causing the problem.  It is the following:

Payment Tools -> Paypal -> My Products element.  I  can't get rid or control that right?  This was in the sample screenshot I sent.  This is one of the most important pieces o the form and reading what people purchased.

Quick tools -> Adress Element - It is showing <br> elements..  I  can live with that.

Please make sure to update the bug if needed to include these elements.

Any workarounds for the My Products element?
