Having a problem with the below form!

Asked by jacque on March 25, 2012 at 04:01 PM

On this form, they are asked to enter a time and to indicate am or pm.  The am/pm option has the up and down arrow to the right but the up/down option does not work.

This is very confusing to my clients.  They have to hover over the time to change am and pm which is fine but then I think you should remove the up/down arrow.

    Please help!

Hi the up/down arrow works with no problem I have tested that, but the confusion comes for the user when hover text shows up. It looks as it doesn't work, and this is due to the hover text is being over it.

Try to embed the iFrame code instead . And let us know if it works. Also, it would be good to increase the width of the page itself.

    Hi Jacque,

As my colleague Jeanette had stated, the up/down arrows of the date/time field work just fine. It is just that the hover/hint text that you put in the field somehow blocks the arrow from being click on to change the AM/PM part.

What I suggest you can do to prevent this is to make the label of your date/time field aligned top , this way the field will be compress and will have space for the hover/hint text you provided.
Please see the screen below where I change the label alignment from auto(your orig) to top.

Hope this sorted it out. Should you need further assistance please contact us.
