    Does Submission imply payment succeeded?

Asked by kokaneepowerforms on March 28, 2012 at 12:13 AM

Seems obvious but I  have to ask.  When a person submits a form but prior to goin gto Paypal for example is that counted as a submission or does it have knowledge when the payment is completed to sonsider it a submission?  I don't want to give people on the internal notificaitons the false interpretation that payment was a success based on teh submission emails.

If the Paypal field is required, then yes, if you recieve a notification email of a form submission, you can be all but certan that a payment has went through.

Any payments which, for whatever reason, dont get completed when control is passed to Paypal will end up in 'Incomplete Payments' for that forms submissions and no email notification will have been sent.
