Thanks - I did that, but it still didn't change how the form acts - i.e. the setting includeds docx, yet when I try and upload a docx i get a message listing the formats it accepts, with no docx. (I am using the free version) - what's going on? Thanks for your help!

You have many forms. Can you post a link to the form that has this problem?

You do not have docx in the list of allowed file types. This is what you have currently:

doc, xls, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, mp3, mpeg

when I go in to update the extensions I see docx listed - I save it - go to the form on the web site - and it's not there...

You are probably editing a different form.

No, but I think I figured it out - if i just go to the top (where you are showing me "Extensions") I see docx listed - but I need to actually open the field in the existing form and edit under "properties" - and type in the docx to the list there - now it is working - thanks for staying with me on this!
