How do I get the file upload widget with preview work with PDF files.

Hello! There appears to be a bit of misunderstanding - The widget that you're using (the one suggested to you by my colleague on this thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/887306) is called Image Upload Preview.
With that in mind, this only allows your users to preview "images" that they upload. A PDF is not an image though, it's a file/document, so it will never work with this widget I'm afraid.
Hope that cleared things up. In case you need more help, don't hesitate to ask.

I'm sorry, but we don't have a widget or a feature that would allow you to upload and preview PDFs. We only have a feature that would allow you to display a PDF in the form. We have this PDF embedder widget to do that:
https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/pdf_embedder
I have submitted this thread to our backend team as a feature request. I'm not sure yet if they'll consider this, but if there are updates, you should know it through this thread.
