May I know how to make the form display correctly in mobile device?
- JotForm SupportjonathanAnswered on March 31, 2012 at 07:57 AM
By default JotForm supports display on mobile devices. The form can be design according to requirements(example, mobile devices normally have smaller width display, so you will design the form with smaller width).
When you say 'display correctly', it is actually only a subject of the requirements. In my sample screen below shows the form in an iPhone 4S device. This form may look scrambled on a larger display monitor (cosidering desktop's for i.e. have broader width), but it display fine on the iPhone. This is because the form was designed with the mobile display as its requirements.
Hope this answers your inquiry. Thank you for considering our JotForm.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
Is possible I just set a standard width (let's say 600px) for my form and it will display nicely across all the smartphones and tablet PC either it shrinks or expands automatically according to the resolution of the device?
However, I have tried one of my existing form (you can try it on your mobile for this link http://m.heppiface.com/form.html), it can't display nicely on my Android 2.2 Samsung mobile.
Please help, thanks.

You are correct, most of the time, smartphones and tablet PCs are able to automatically resize the pages according to its resolution. Most mobile technologies nowadays supports different OS and browsers. It is rare an occassion that web pages needs to be customize for a specific look and feel on mobile displays.
I cannot seem to find your JotForm form though. The URL you provided does not seem to have JotForm form in it. Can you provide me at least the form ID? I can check further this way.

I tested your form on an emulator using Android on Samsung Galaxy S2. And it displays like the screen below. Please note that the device itself also have settings thay may need setting up initially for the desired display of web forms/pages.
As I mentioned previously, I could not find your JotForm form. When I further check the URL you provided I did find an embeded form(and ID), but I think it is not associated to your account.
You may at least want to register to JotForm using the Basic FREE plan. If you do, we can work together on your form.

Hi, are you referring to a facebook page or to your facebook app? Can you share to us the URL for your facebook page where we can see the form in use?

That's an issue with Facebook on mobile devices, as far as I know it is not supported. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about that.
