Creating to-do list with a gift registry widget

I intend to put on my website a list using check box.

The idea is to be a check list as a to-do list but several users will use the same list, that is, a select few items and save other select other items and saved. it is possible?

Something similar might be possible with a Gift Registry widget field. If one check box should be checked only once, you can limit its quantity to 1. The widget will automatically calculate and show available items/slots to the form users.
