why credit card numbers not recorded properly?

    My form asks for a customer credit card number. It has worked flawlessly for years, but today, the numbers are not shown fully, instead displayed as "3715#######1004".

    I have just reviewed your form CCFORM. I would say you were really lucky that our phishing application did not catch your account and suspended it.

    This violates our terms and should have been suspended.

    For security reason and to protect the information of our users, our team when through all records. Where it found CC information at replaced it with "#". If you really require it back, please gives us some information on how you are using the form and we will be glad to revert it back.

    Thank you for the quick reply. As I said, I created this form years ago and I did not realize that it was now in violation of your TOS. I do really appreciate your offer to "revert it back".

    I manage my customer accounts in Quickbooks. I have a merchant account with them. I simply need an easier way than a phone call for customers to give me their credit card info to enter into Quickbooks. As you see, I delete each entry from Jotform, usually within 24 hours of submission. And I don't have the card number itself emailed to me.

    If you would 'revert' the form to its previous functionality, that would be great! If you have further questions, I'd be happy to provide more info.

    I'm sorry to inform you but that is not possible. I have just spoken with my superiors and for security reason this can be done. I would need to contact the end user to get the information.

    I would also recommend you adjust your form and use one of our payment fields to collect the CC information. Even though we do no collect the information you may contact that specific 3rd party to get the information.

    same problem here, I suppose the telephatic communication from Jotform didn't work too well!!!

    This LACK of communication is a VIOLATION of common sense!
