Import list from spreadsheet for dropdown?

I have cloned my form and tested out the work around of using conditional logic to hide/show & enable/require for this one but very important field. The problem is the (clone) form is loaded down and is taking too long to load because of all the extras needed for this work around. I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 fields that are duplicates of this one field that switches out conditionally based on the day of the week and the time of day. I've seen here in the forum that this has been requested by others for at least 4 years now. Has this capability by chance been implemented yet? My Jotform is integrated with Google Sheets. Can't I integrate one column from one spreadsheet in to one drop down? Can't I integrate Google Sheets with Jotform?

    Thanks

Currently there is no automated means to populate the Dropdown list with data from an external data file (i.e. from Google sheet column)

You will have to do a manual copy and paste process to populate your Dropdown list with the data from the spreadsheet.

An alternative method I suggest that you may want to check also is to use the Dynamic Dropdowns widget. With this widget, you can eliminate or minimize the need for using conditional statement for dynamic data population of dropdown list.

Here is a demo form http://form.jotformpro.com/form/43514646570961?

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Hey Jonathan, thanks. I did just look at your suggestion and I can see where this "could" be the answer for now. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to hide part of the dynamic dropdown (i.e. hide the parent(s)). If that would be possible then this work around would indeed be a good solution for now. Please let me know if I'm missing anything here. Thanks again sir

Thanks Jonathan, I will take a look at your proposed possible solution.
Sounds like it might be the answer for now. Could you please tell me if
there is anything in the works for that feature?

Thank you for the confirmation. You are quite welcome as well. :-)

Yes, there was already a submitted feature request to the higher team support for the feature to populate Dropdown list using external data like from spreadsheets.

Here is the thread with the feature request ticket on it.

    https://www.jotform.com/answers/517395-Feature-request-Populate-dropdown-options-with-value-from-google-spreadsheet-

I tell you though, the requested feature was not in high priority at this time.

So it will not be having update anytime soon. It is even possible it can be cancelled. The dev team usually have more prioritize and urgent assigned task the reason some requested features were being put into lower priority.

    Hope this help.

    Thanks.
