    Where do undeliverable email messages go?

    I would like to know when my auto-replies are not deliverable because the email address my form user types is wrong (undeliverable).  How can I receive the "email undeliverable" notifications?  What address do they currently go to?

    Hi,

    Sorry for what happened. we advice users to keenly re-check the auto-reply emails and ensure that they are correct and verified. The undeliverable mails won’t be saved, in order to prevent the Badmail folder from filling up with messages, so a non-deliverable report is sent to sender's email with 48hrs.

    I am not sure this is answering my question -- if a user types an incorrect email into my form (which I cannot prevent), is their any way I can receive a notification of the undeliverable mail?  Can I get access to the "Badmail folder"?  I need to know which users are not receiving the auto-replies (due to their errors, not mine), so I can follow up with them.

    As far as I know, this is not currently possible. However, I have created a feature request ticket and forwarded it to our Administrators.

    We will update this thread if we get any more news for you.

    It is not possible for you to check email logs, but we can do it for you. When you do not receive an email, give us the email address of the recipient and we will check it and provide you the error provided on the log.

    OK, I understand that we don't have access to the email logs.  I don't think you folks can check for me, since I am not made aware of bad emails unless I receive an Undeliverable email message.  Since I am not able to receive those apparently, I cannot give you any email addresses.  I had been hoping that I could update the reply-to address, so that I would be alerted when an email was undeliverable, and I could contact the person by phone for their correct email address.  Otherwise, I will not know which emails are bad.

    Thank you for providing us your update.

    Unfortunatelly, this is how it works for now.
    The undeliverable email message responsibility really falls more on end-users part.


    Perhaps you can provide some prompt or sub-message on the form, specifically on the email field, advising the end-user of the importance of providing the valid/correct email address information.

    Come to think of it. If the end-user will still not properly provided the required data, then, the information is probably not worth it.
