    pdf attachment to autoresponder

    Hi, I'm trying to use the - attache a file to the autoresponder email - feature but it sends the file corrupted, I don't know why.

    The message, when I click on the attached pdf file in the received email is: <The file “Insurance Form copy.pdf” could not be opened because it is empty.>

    Please advice.

    It is possible that your PDF was corrupt or did not upload correctly into your autoresponder. Can you please remove the PDF and re-upload it again.

    I have just tested your form and it doe not download properly. I also uploaded a PDF in one of my forms and the autoresponder send the PDF properly.

    I did it several time before, I did it again a few minutes ago also - THE RESULT is same, I got the email but the attachment probably is corrupted and the message same: The file “Instructiuni expediere colete USA-RO reduced.pdf” could not be opened because it is empty.
    I’ll forward the email to you.

    Hello Gyula,

    Sorry you are having problems with the PDF attachment in the autoresponder. When I tested your form with your PDF. I too was not able to open the file properly. When I removed it and added one of my PDFs. The autoresponder was send successfully and I was able to download and open the PDF, I had attached.

    That is the reason I am thinking that either the PDF is corrupt or got corrupt when uploading it in the autoresponder.

    Can you please email the PDF to us to support@jotform.com. We will be glad to review and see what may be causing the problem. Please add this thread in the subject area so our team knows what they are looking for.

    I could not find your file in our Gmail inbox, could you please re-send us the file? 

    Please do not forget to include this thread ID on the email subject "905246" so it will help us to find your email.

    I'm having the same problem. I've tried two different PDF files, both of which open absolutely fine on my computers.
