Remove Captcha and Enforce Required Field Submission (Facebook Tab)

Asked by hlcadmin on November 16, 2010 at 10:27 AM

I am relatively new to using jotform and was researching how to remove the captcha form when someone submits their information.  In this particular instance I feel that the captcha is unnecessary as we are using this form on a facebook tab.

I did reference the FAQ and User guide but still am not clear on how to remove the captcha form.  And I also wanted to know how to make it required that all fields must be completed in order for the form to be submitted on Facebook.  I thought I had set it up the required fields (with the red asterisk) when I was creating the form.

    Please advise.

You can remove the captcha by selecting the captcha question on your form and then clicking on the delete button.

I have a further question based on this. I get a CAPTCHA when I try to use JotForm in a browser with Javascript disabled (for ADA and compatibility compliance). The CAPTCHA cannot load when JS is disabled, making the form unsubmitabble. Please advice.

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for your message and our apologies for the trouble. For us to perform initial investigation, may we ask for the URL where your form is currently embedded?
