The settings cog does not work all time on properties in Safari

In Safari the properties cog is not accessible much of the time. If I close/reopen Safari properties can be changed several times, then nothing happens when clicking on the cog directly or accessing the grey cog using the new blue downward triangle.

Could you please tell us a bit more about the same?

Is this the properties for the form, or the properties of the field? I presume that it is for field properties however I would just like to confirm the same.

Also, could you tell us if you experience the same in Chrome?
