Payment Authorization Form

In working on another project, I had created a jotform to collect payment information for a travel agency. The agency did not process payments, but instead collected credit card information to make a payment to a travel supplier on behalf of the Guest. The jotform account was locked for a violation of terms of service.

In working on a new project, I used the "New Form from Template" option, and found a form, Payment Authorization, that accomplishes exactly what the account for the other project had been locked for.

Before I use this form, I wanted to inquire as to whether or not there had been a change to the terms of service, and if jotform can be used to collect credit card information without processing it?

    Thanks!

Hello! I checked your form and confirmed you're using one of our payment processors (Authorize.net) so you're not violating any of our Terms of Service. The only time you will be in violation is if you're just using plain form fields to collect credit card info.

To enable Payment Authorization in Authorize.net, just click the gear icon on your Authorize.net widget > then set the Authorize Only dropdown to Yes
