Salesforce Integration: Update Existing Entry option is not working

    I am integrating multiple forms into salesforce and NEED to make sure it de-dupes. This is done via email. You have an option on your forms to 'check for duplicity by email' - but this is not working it continues to create new contacts in salesforce. The main reason we chose this form builder was because of the de-duping possibility --- PLEASE HELP ASAP.

    It looks like that there is some issue with the 'Update Existing Entry' option in our Salesforce integration. I was able to reproduce it, so I have attached a bug report ticket to this thread and forwarded it to our developers.

    Unfortunately, we cannot provide any ETA for when this can be fixed, but we will get back to you as soon as we have any updates.

    Duplicate checking does work, but it doesn't just rely on email address.

    For contacts and leads, your form must have both full name and email fields that are properly matched.

    We have updated the integration wizard so it would point to a manual that talks about duplicate checking.

    Please take some time to read the said manual. Update your form accordingly and do let us know if you're still having issues.
