background color does not change

I changed my background color using the designer and at one point it changed fine.  I went back in to change it to another color and now it just stays white.  I saw your solution to someone else to inject the css below and I will try that but wanted to let you know that I am also having the same problem.

    background-color: #000000;

}

Under the "Design" tab, change the background color to your preferred color:
