Actually yes, the Auto Hide empty fields is available in a free version.

Simple click on the Submission Icon from the Toolbar and then go to Properties, as shown below

If you would like to redirect your user to another URL, you might want to check this guide

But, if want you want to create logical conditions,  like sending an email to a particular address, based upon a certain criteria, after a submission, check the images below

Feel free to look for more assistance

    Hi Jeanette,

There jsut does not seem to be a way to display the entire form on my site http://underhillsociety.org/trace.htm and then exclude unfilled fields in the email notification so that only those fields actually filled in by the user transmit in the email.

I'm also interested in producing a proxy form for voting of officers' slate for board of directors.  Is there a template available?

In order to accomplish your first request, once you have a form created, from the form builder view, select your form and then click on Submissions

    form submission

    Then, select properties :

Find the option  "Hide empty files" and select it

This way, you will get email notifications only with the fields that were filled by the users

Regarding to your second request, our form gallery is almost done, we have been in the process of building forms and organizing them into categories.

I'll see if we have available something like you need and will let you know later.

    Jennifer,
I believe I understand now, correct me if I'm wrong. A user fills out the
form on the website and submits it. I receive a notification via email as
the only recipient. I call up the submission in JotForm and auto-hide the
blank fields. Then I manually forward the results to the 2 genealogists
that should be receiving it in the first place. I was trying to accomplish
this by automatically emailing the notification to all 3 of us at
submission time with the blank fields already eliminated. Does that make
    sense?

Once you made changes to Submission Properties, it will carry over to the next submission. So, if you have ticked Auto Hide Empty Fields - the next submission will automatically no longer include those empty fields on the report.

    Hope that clear things out.

Not to belabor the subject, if I've ticked Auto Hide Empty Fields in
Submission Properties the next, and subsequent submissions will still show
all of the filled-in fields from the total fields available.

Your assumption is correct. Once you set the Auto Hide empty field option, further submissions will arrive only with filled-in fields

Well Jennifer, I cannot get the Auto-Hide to work! I did as you suggested
and got the following returned notification. As you can see, I only filled
in a few fields and all of the rest of them still appeared.
My conditions remain set to auto-hide unfilled fields, even when I sent the
below submission. But the email notification included all of the fields,
blank and filled. There doesn't seem to be a way to automatically send the
email notification upon submission without the blank fields. I'm guessing
that I will have to receive the submissions to myself only, and then
manually forward them to the 2 genealogists from the JotForms site. Am I
    correct?

I have checked your submissions and here it is what I have gotten:

If I check on the Autohide empty fields option, then I only see the fields that were filled

And here you have them without the Autohide enabled

And If I choose to forward the email, only the fields with data will be included, as shown below

Let me do some more tests and I'll come back to you later

What you've done is exactly what I did. For. now I'm manually forwarding the auto-hidden subs to my two genealogists.

So I guess it's not possible to send automatic email notifications to users which does not include empty fields. You only can Forward submissions manually.

I found another thread where some users are doing some custom coding on their own domain. Here.

This situation is far from ideal. Is there any plans to implement the feature properly?

That would be terrific!  It would be much appreciated.  I surely would like to be notified if and when it's implemented.

I am sorry to inform you, but we can not provide any ETA on this.

Currently, we have the Auto hide functionality for Radio Button, Check Box, File Upload, Scale Rating and Matrix (with Radio Button and Check Box inputs) empty fields. However, it works for default Notifications only, if you change the Notification body, all the fields will appear. We will try to improve this system in the future.

Alternatively, you may delete field names from the Notification body and just leave field {tags}. Tags will not show any information from empty entries.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter.

    Hi,

We have a new feature in jotform. This is the "Hide Empty Fields on Emails" from advance tab under Preferences. Have you tried these already? Please confirm if these works in your side.

Note: if the email alert has been edited, it becomes now 'dirty' if how we call it. Which means the said feature will not be work anymore, unless you recreate the email alert.

    Thank you,
    Kenneth
