drkirkwilsonAsked on September 1, 2016 at 9:52 PMNow I have looked at
https://www.jotform.com/help/357-How-to-Change-the-Text-of-the-Edit-Link-in-Your-Email-Alerts
but I cannot seem to edit the text for the {edit_link} for each
autoresponder since the text with the link needs to be in the
target language of each autoresponder.
How do I do that?
For example, I
want to change the linked text for the highlighted item below
so it is in the Afrikaans language.
I selected the
Link icon in the main menu to display the following.
I then entered the Afrikaans text
displayed below in Text to display and selected OK and
Save but it is not saved and I am not sure what to do next.
Where do I find step-by-step
directions to change the text that displays with the link for
each of my autoresponder pages?
Thanks...Kirk

The {edit_link} is different from the link shown in this guide. By default, the {edit_link} will always be displayed as Edit Submission. The one in the guide is a text that was typed by the form owner. To have your own custom edit link, please follow the steps below:
1. Open the autoresponder wizard.
2. While on the text editor, type out the text that you want to turn into an edit link. In the example below, I typed "Click here to edit" in the editor.
3. Now highlight the text and click the Insert Link button.
4. A window will popupon the page. On the URL field of that window, enter the following link: https://www.jotform.com/edit/{id} Set the target to New Window and click OK when done.
5. Once you click OK, you now have an edit link with a customized text on that language, which in this example, is in english. Follow the same steps for every autoresponder and you're all set.
