As mentioned in the original thread, I have forwarded this thread to our backend team as a feature request. If there are updates, you should know it through this thread.
We cannot offer you a workaround so maybe, adding a text in the form that would inform users that the date reservation starts on Monday.

Thanks for your pointing out the solution given by Ben, wolfpaw69. It indeed is a good one. For easier reference which can be used by the developer assigned on this feature implementation request, we'll leave the ticket open for him.
In any case, as soon as the new feature is implemented, we'll inform you right away.
