Adding a second Auto Responder to a form. Will this automatically send to those that are in the database for this specific formAsked by naturalbodz on September 05, 2016 at 05:11 AM
HI I have created a form a while ago and at that time set up my auto responder and email notification.
I have had submissions to this form already and now wanting jot form to send a 2nd auto responder that I have just created to both the future subscribers and the ones that already have and are in the database of the particular form.
Will this occur as I am not sure if I need to send an email outside of jotform to the mailing list or am to expect that this will do it for me.
Your advise will be much appreciated and I can provide the form link should you need to see the 2nd autoresponder and how it has been set up.
If I understand your question correctly, you are asking if you create a second autoresponder will affect the old customers that they've already submitted the form before creating the autoresponder or not. If You're asking that the answer is no. It will not affect the old submissions. When you create an additional autoresponder it will only affect your future subscribers. If you have any question or issues, please do not hesitate contacting us. We will be glad to assist you.
Thank you for your response. Yes you have understood correctly however I was kind of hoping that the old submissions would also receive a copy of the second auto responder that I have since created, so i will resort to sending those an email via our ordinary mail program.
And just to be clear if I have auto responder #1 set up to send immediately after their submission and then auto responder #2 set to sending 1 day later this will be the sequence and future subscribers will get both AR #1 & #2 ? As this is what i would like for it to do.
Yes, the recipient will receive both, one immediately and the other scheduled as set in the 2nd AR.
If you have further questions, please let us know. :)
Thanks for confirming :)
