No error message is displayed on submission when required fields are not completed.

I have 3 fields on my form which I have marked as required. However, if any or all are left blank and the submit button is pressed, no error message comes up to go back and fill those fields in. It goes straight to the 'thank you' page.

Please can you advise, have I missed something when building the form?

    Many thanks,
