How can I add a description to my radio button and checkbox questions?

Asked by melissadmiller on September 12, 2016 at 06:31 PM

I'd like to add a description - in some cases one that contains multiple paragraphs and/or lists - in a description div that sits just beneath the question label for my radio and checkbox form items.

Currently, to accomplish this, I am using a separate text box that contains the question label/heading (e.g. Required Reading) and the description (e.g. "Read the following books" + a numbered list of those book titles). Then in a subsequent checkbox field, I'm entering the same label/heading (because it's part of the same question...), and then adding in the checkbox for them to confirm they will do this.

    Thanks for your help!

    Thank you for contacting us.

Your setup with the information Text fields is completely fine.

This is also possible to add some description as a Hover Text. It will be displayed when you mouse over the field.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.
