Form Calculation widget: Compute a Matrix Field based on the rows setup even with "Shuffle Rows" enabled

I have organized the the questions in the matrix in groups of 5.

Each group of 5 returns results to the proper calculation box below. IE Questions 1-5 answers are tabulated and populate the "Discovery" total. Questions 6-10 are tabulated and populate the "Startup" calculation.

However, I need to randomize the questions, which won't work properly because the score doesn't follow the question in that case - it just tabulates the question that is occupying the cell. Is there a way to randomize the questions, but code them somehow so the numeric value populates the proper score category?

Hello, I understand what you're trying to do but I'm afraid that's not doable at the moment.

You are correct - The calculation widget just computes the question that currently occupies the cell in the grid. It won't follow the question if SHUFFLE ROWS is enabled.

I fiddled around the Matrix field and the Form Calculation widget for quite some time but failed to find a workaround that will fit your requirement.

As a resolution, I'll be marking your post as a feature request. And although I won't be able to give you any timeframe, rest assured, we'll keep you apprised on this same thread if/when there's an update.
