    Why does the form ignore my width parameter?

    Asked by noamflint on November 24, 2010 at 03:58 AM

    Hello,

    I built a form and made it 300px wide. For some reason it acts as if it's 400px wide (leaving a white area on the side).

    I added the form into the left cell in a table, again making the <td> 300px wide.
    For some reason, there is  large margin between the form and the cell on the right.

    It is as if I added into the TD's style padding / margin-right: 100px ;

    By the way, I use the form in facebook.

    Thanks

    I think it is because if the facebook code. It probably does not allow you to change the width. I sent this to our developer who works on the facebook form code.
