Name of site does not match name of certificate?Asked by murcjot on April 20, 2012 at 11:49 AM
There are problems with the security certificate for this site
The name of the site does not match the name on the certificate.
I can then view the certificate's info if I want.
Any idea what this might be? It is a secure form.
Also, I'm currently using the free account just to test it out, could this error be related to that? I plan on upgrading today or tomorrow.
We apologise for the inconveniences caused by this issue. Please can you give us the URL of tye form you are mentioning above. Please if you are using https://secure.jotform.com/ and causing this problems, try the alternative: https://www.jotform.com/ which has the same level of security and let us know if you still experience any issues.
Lets know if this helps, thanks for using Jotform
No resolution to this yet? People are getting the following error on my form.
There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.
Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.

If you arrived at this page by clicking a link, check the website address in the address bar to be sure that it is the address you were expecting. When going to a website with an address such as https://example.com, try adding the 'www' to the address, https://www.example.com.
For more information, see "Certificate Errors" in Internet Explorer Help.
As my colleague stated, we would need a link to the site the form is embedded to, or the link you are using for your form, and we will be happy to take a look. Sometimes when a link to a secure form is not properly setup it will give this error. Also, if there is non-secure content in your form loading to a secure page, the page will return a certificate warning. Let us know and we will have a look as soon as possible.
Thank you for using Jotform!
Why am I receiving these emails?
Sorry about that, someone posted a new response in a thread you opened a long time ago. There should be a link to unfollow this thread in the bottom of your email.
Oh ok thanks. Just did.
